Join the speaking course waitlist
We are building a full speaking course: short daily lessons, each tied to one grammar rule, with fixes after every talk. Join the list, and we will email you once when it opens.

- We never share or sell your email.
- Ask us to delete it at any time.

We will email you once when the course opens. Thank you for helping us test the lesson.
What we record
- Your voice goes to Deepgram, not to us. When you speak, your browser sends the audio straight to Deepgram, a speech-to-text service, and gets the text back. We never receive or store the audio. If Deepgram is not available, your browser's own speech service (Google, Microsoft or Apple) does this instead.
- Your answers go to the AI tutor. Our server sends the text of the conversation to OpenRouter, which passes it to the AI model that writes the replies. Deepgram reads the tutor's replies aloud. We do not store the conversation.
- Daily limits. Your browser stores the minutes you used today. Our server counts requests per network with a scrambled IP address and deletes the count after two days.
- The waitlist is optional. If you join, we store your email, level and goal.

Questions
Which browsers can I speak in?
You can speak in current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, on a computer or a phone. You need to allow the microphone. If our speech service is busy, Firefox asks you to type. Typing works in every browser, and the tutor gives the same fixes.
Why only 10 minutes?
This is a free test of the lesson. Each browser gets 10 minutes a day, and each network has a daily limit, so the demo stays free for everyone.
Is the tutor a real teacher?
No. The tutor is an AI language model. It can make mistakes, so check a fix with a grammar page if it looks wrong to you.
Does the tutor remember me?
No. When you close the page, the conversation is gone. We do not store your answers.
The speaking demo is a test. It runs for 30 days, and we use the results to decide whether to build the full course. English Ocean is a Senty project.
